Last updated: June 11, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of dadsfordads.com and related online services operated by Dads For Dads Corporation (“Dads for Dads,”, “DFD”, “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website, creating an account, participating in the forum, submitting a form, donating, or accessing our resources, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the website.

About Dads for Dads

Dads for Dads is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports fathers and father-child relationships through resources, mentorship, community, programs, and local information. The website is provided for general informational, community, and nonprofit engagement purposes.

No professional advice or emergency service

Website content, forum discussions, resources, events, and communications from Dads for Dads are not legal, financial, medical, mental health, custody, tax, or other professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals for advice about your specific circumstances.

Dads for Dads is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text 988 in the United States for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Accounts

Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts when we believe it is necessary to protect the community, enforce these Terms, comply with law, prevent misuse, or maintain the website.

Community rules

The forum and related community spaces exist to help fathers support one another. When using community features, you agree to:

  • Be respectful, supportive, and child-centered.
  • Protect the privacy of children, co-parents, family members, and other users.
  • Post only content you have the right to share.
  • Avoid harassment, threats, hate speech, bullying, explicit content, spam, scams, impersonation, or illegal activity.
  • Avoid sharing sensitive personal, legal, custody, medical, financial, or identifying details that should remain private.
  • Report content that seems unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate.

We may review, hide, remove, edit, lock, or delete content, and we may restrict accounts, at our discretion. We are not obligated to monitor all content and do not endorse user posts.

User content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the website, such as forum posts, replies, reports, messages, and other submissions. By submitting content, you grant Dads for Dads a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and promote the website and our nonprofit mission.

You represent that your content does not violate anyone else’s rights and does not violate these Terms or applicable law. You are responsible for the content you submit.

Donations and payments

Donation links, embedded donation forms, and payment transactions may be provided by third-party services such as Stripe and Zeffy. Those services may have their own terms, fees, privacy practices, refund rules, and receipt processes. By using those services, you also agree to the applicable third-party terms.

Unless otherwise stated, donations are voluntary charitable contributions. If you have questions about a donation, receipt, recurring contribution, or refund request, contact us at donate@dadsfordads.com.

Newsletter, contact forms, and communications

If you submit a contact form, sign up for updates, create an account, or enable notifications, we may contact you about your request, account, forum activity, events, donations, resources, programs, or other Dads for Dads updates. You can opt out of optional communications where an opt-out method is provided, but we may still send administrative or transactional messages.

Third-party links and services

The website may include links to third-party websites, embedded forms, event listings, donation processors, newsletter tools, analytics providers, and other services. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, policies, or practices.

The website, including its design, text, graphics, logos, resources, software, and other materials, is owned by Dads for Dads or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws. You may use the website for personal, informational, and nonprofit engagement purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit website materials without permission, except where allowed by law.
